CHARLIE Farrer is aiming for two top 10 finishes this weekend as he returns to British Talent Cup (BTC) action at Snetterton.
The teenager from Easington in County Durham will be back with the one-make series after three weeks off since his last outing at Donington Park, where the BTC supported the World Superbike Championship.
Farrer admits he had a difficult time finding a setup that worked, but managed to push on during the races and battle his way up to finish in the points.
But the 16-year-old is hoping to move even further up the finishing order this weekend as the series heads to Snetterton in Norfolk for its third round of the year, supporting the British Superbike Championship.
“Donington Park was definitely difficult, that’s for sure, but I don’t want to dwell on the past and I’m just really looking forward to getting back out and progressing this weekend,” he said.
“Snetterton is a fast track so the slipstreaming is definitely going to come into play. I think if I can just chip away at setup and get comfortable, I’ll be able to get my head down and then see where we can end up.”
Farrer hits the track on Friday for two practice sessions and Saturday for qualifying, followed by two 14-lap races – one on Saturday afternoon and one on Sunday morning.
